COACHING

Richard is an experienced coach, who regularly works at the Royal Conservatorium of Scotland, Glasgow and the Brisbane Conservatorium of Music, Australia. Over the years he has coached many of the top singers in the world, including Sir Willard White, Karen Cargill, Christoph Strehl, Andrea Baker, Lothar Odinius, Roderick Williams, Lisa Gasteen, Kathleen Broderick, Judit Halasz and Christian Franz.

Having worked at one of Germany’s top repertoire houses, Mannheim, (which performs in excess of 40 productions annually) his repertoire is extensive. In addition, he specialises in the works of Richard Strauss, Wagner, Mozart and Verdi. He is comfortable coaching in the following languages:

He is also familiar with the musical theatre repertoire, focussing on the ‘legit’ era of Broadway’s Golden Age, Bernstein, Sondheim as well as contemporary composers such as Schwartz, William Finn and Jason Robert Brown.
